The bus made delightful stops at various points for quick snacking, a buffet lunch, and the chance to buy fresh fruits from the locals, further enhancing their joyous travel experience. To Alisha’s surprise, Anjali could pay for those small expenses by QR code scans with her mobile phone. Nepal, indeed was going cashless and becoming digital.

As they traversed the route, Anjali was mesmerized by the breathtaking scenes unfolding along the banks of the Trishuli River. The standoff persisted for an hour until the chicken’s owner was finally satisfied with an Rs1500 settlement. Once the dispute was resolved, traffic resumed its normal flow. Despite the jam, Alisha was pleasantly surprised by the bus company’s friendly, professional, and caring service. She found it far superior to her experience with Greyhound Bus from Denver, Colorado, to Las Vegas a few years ago.
